It’s the Queen’s 90th Birthday today and to commemorate this special day I am doing a roundup of 5 fabulous posts I have found over the years on the “Early Days” of the Queen’s life (aka The vintage years). Happy Birthday to the Queen!

Looking thru all these photos, what I would not give to have one or 2 of her dresses. Don’t you agree?

Now in honour of the Queen’s birthday I’m going to have some Tea and maybe a piece of cake later on today.

Have a marvelous day friends!

  1. Beautiful images and idea for a post, sweet Liz. I think that for many of us, even vintage fans, we tend to think of the queen as being elderly, as she’s been such for some or all of our lives, but like everyone, she was once a sprightly youngster and these five posts do such a terrific job of highlighting her back in those vibrant mid-century days.

    • That is an excellent point about how many of us see the Queen (and our Grandparents) but yes everyone was young once and even super stylish too! Like the Queen!

      Have a wonderful weekend 🙂
