Vintage Photo Tuesday: Key West Florida 1930s-1960s

Vintage Florida Keys Travel Poster

Source: Etsy

On Friday I’m off to the Florida Keys (Florida’s southernmost point and boasts some of the state’s most beautiful beaches) to meetup with some friends to spend a week hanging out, snorkelling and diving. This is my first time to the Keys and I’m excited to see what this tropical part of Florida has to offer.

So in honour of my trip, today’s Vintage Photo Tuesday will be vintage images from the Keys themselves.

Enjoy!

I have always enjoyed vintage items from Canada’s History and when it’s a piece of history from my own families experience, it makes it even better. Seen below is a Vintage souvenir dish from the Montreal Expo of 1967. My father and his family attended this expo and it’s cool to think that what you see below is what they saw as well when they were walking around (P.S. I’m not buying this because I already have memorabilia from the expo).

Take home a piece of Canadian history today!
