2021 was another interesting year for all of us and we made do as much as we could. I was happy to have been able to squeeze in a bunch of fun activities with friends and families before the world changed again. So not all was lost! I hope all of you got to do the same.

For today’s post (and the last one of 2021), I want to showcase some lovely vintage New Years Eve advertisements & party announcements from the 1920s-1960s!

  1. Especially like the 1930 one with the redhead in the green dress. Not because I am a redhead who owns a green dress, but because I love the vibracy of that image and the style!

  2. LOVE those Emma Domb dresses. They remind me of Back to the Future’s Enchantment Under the Sea dresses. I soooo want one. Well, or maybe I could sew one! And maybe that will be next year’s NYE theme!!!

    • YES! Great observation! They do look like something from Back to the Future. Gosh I wish I could sew, so I too can have a number like this. Good luck if you take on this challenge!
