April 28th, 2012 I was married and it’s been 11 wonderful years of wedded bliss. I’m very lucky and I love my husband and our adventures together.

That said, today’s post is in honour of my wedding anniversary and features vintage wedding photos from the 1920s-1950s. See the stunning wedding dresses, the stylish grooms and floral bouquets that are so big someone had to of fallen over. Vintage Wedding Photos 1920’s – 1950’s

1920’s wedding’s not only enjoyed a long veil but also a shorter hemline. Our glasses wearing beautiful bride is a prime example of that popular look.

The 1930s continued the 1920s love of the very long veils, as you can see our lovely bride is wearing in the below 1930s wedding party photo. Simple elegant group (bias cut dresses are so stylish).

Hold my computer while I try to breathe….THIS DRESS! OMG! What a vintage 1930s wedding photo..so dramatic, so amazing! That veil! I’m speechless.

What I love about vintage wedding’s is the headwear for the bride, bridesmaids and mothers. They are always so fantastic, like our early 1930’s bride. Her crown tiara is stunning and her bridesmaids halo hats are equally fantastic. What a stylish 1930’s wedding party.
